This series consists of materials pertaining to education. Materials are divided into subseries based on their subject matter and arranged by alphanumeric subcode and thereunder by case file number. ED (Education) includes memoranda, news clippings, correspondence, publications, proposed legislation, speeches (and drafts thereof), talking points, reports, and fact sheets. The correspondence present is between President George W. Bush, Congress, and the general public regarding George W. Bush administration education policy.

This series is divided into two subseries: OS (Outer Space) and OS001 (Space Research and Development). OS (Outer Space) contains letters to the President, responses from the administration and background material regarding space policy. Topics include defense against near earth objects and U.S. national space policy.

This series is divided into six subseries: SO (White House Social Affairs), SO001 (Breakfasts, White House), SO002 (Dinners, White House), SO003 (Luncheons, White House), SO004 (Receptions, White House), SO005 (Teas - Garden Parties - Concerts, White House). All six subseries are comprised of correspondence (and drafts thereof), memoranda, forms, speeches, invitation lists, planning documents, and other materials related to social events including meals, receptions, and concerts held at the White House.

NARA's Presidential Libraries and Museums are repositories for textual, audiovisual, and electronic Presidential records as well as domestic and foreign Presidential gifts.

White House Counsel's Office Subject Files

This series of records primarily contains correspondence, published articles, printouts from LexisNexis, printed emails, routing memos, FOIA requests and notifications, court filings, bills, and books. Correspondence predominately includes incoming mail routed to or addressed to Kavanaugh regarding legal issues, copies of correspondence between the White House and various agencies and Congress, and routine responses from Kavanaugh. Prominent themes represented within these records include anti-terrorism legislation, access to presidential records, judicial appointments, and tort reform.
