The George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum are open to the public. The Research Room is open by appointment only, which must be scheduled by 3:00pm if wishing to visit the next business day. Schedule a virtual orientation prior to booking travel. We respond to written requests for records at gwbush.library@nara.gov. Please check our website or archives.gov/coronavirus for COVID updates.

This gallery highlights documents from the Library's archives, some of which are on display in the Museum's permanent exhibit. Additional documents provide a "sneak peek" into President George W. Bush's time in the White House. They include menus from White House dinners and lunches, a note from President Bush written on the day that the last of the debris was removed from Ground Zero, the President's own speech cards, and other documents.

The textual collection consists of roughly 70 million pages of paper records.
