FOIA 2015-0140-F contains materials related to films screened by President George W. Bush. This request was limited to include only Staff Member Office Files.

This FOIA primarily contains the Presidential Daily Diary, schedules, guest lists, schedule proposals, briefings, photos, handwritten notes, administrative forms, and news articles regarding film screenings. A large quantity of printed emails regarding guest lists, event planning, scheduling, menus, seating, and administrative matters such as transportation and admittance into the White House complex are included. Additionally, a master license agreement from Sony Pictures Classic, information regarding the plots, actors, producers, and production companies of various films, and vetting results for guests attending film screenings comprise this request.

Some movies that President Bush did not view are included within this request due to ambiguity regarding his schedule. Marley & Me, The Tale of Despereaux, and Horton Hears a Who feature his name on the guest list, but were not included in the Presidential Daily Diary. Additionally, President Bush attended a photo opportunity before the screening of the documentary Ballou, but did not watch the film.

Lastly, certain folders from the White House Social Office were possibly created by different staff members within the office than what is indicated. The material retired by A. Kate Irons appears to be intermingled with records belonging to Caroline Huddleston. Additionally, all material retired by Anne Stewart appears to have belonged to Catherine (Cathy) Fenton.
