FOIA 2014-0064-F contains materials related to the NATO- EU Declaration on ESDP, which was agreed on December 16, 2002.
This FOIA primarily contains cover sheets, correspondence between White House staff members, reports, and President William J. Clinton administration correspondence. The Clinton administration correspondence includes letters from President William J. Clinton to heads of businesses and members of Congress regarding trade and investment in Turkey, specifically the sale of US helicopters. Additional material includes a press availability for December 18, 2002, between Danish Foreign Minister Per Stig Moeller, European Union High Representative Javier Solana, European Union Commissioner Chris Patten, and Secretary of State Colin L. Powell. Also included is a cable transmitting the December 13, 2002 decision sheet on Berlin Plus and the text of the NATO-EU Declaration on ESDP.
It should be noted that many of the documents listed here may have been closed due to National Security classification and/or exemptions of the Freedom of Information Act.
