Scope and Content

The materials in FOIA 2017-0425-F are a selective, not necessarily all inclusive, body of documents responsive to the topic of the FOIA. Researchers should consult the archivist about related materials.

FOIA 2017-0425-F requested materials related to the British United States Communication Intelligence Agreement (UKUSA Agreement).

This FOIA primarily contains printed administrative email, cover sheets, action data summary reports, acts, press releases, and notes. This FOIA contains information memoranda from 2007 to President George W. Bush regarding The Technical Cooperation Program, as well as a memorandum discussing The Technical Cooperation Program. The electronic records in this FOIA consist of routine correspondence, organizational charts, talking points, published reports and papers, newsletters, and news articles. It should be noted that many of the documents in this FOIA have been closed due to National Security classification and/or exemptions of the Freedom of Information Act.
