Bush Presidential Library and Museum, the records are the property of the State of Texas, the responsibility of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission, and are subject to research requests and the Texas Public Information Act (PIA). Requests for George W. Bush gubernatorial records, whether a research request or public information request, must be submitted via the Texas State Archives Material Request Form.
